Payment Policies:
LC Webworks preferred payment method is PayPal using Visa, Mastercard, Discovery, American Express or e-check. LC Webworks will also accept checks or money orders via US Postal Service, but will will require confirmation of cleared funds before commencement of any work will begin.
Half payment is required in advance before any work will begin. After completion of your web site it will be posted online for 48 hours for your review & approval prior to receiving the final bill. During this period you will have the opportunity to request changes to your project. After final approval of your web site, I require full payment with 72 hours.
Updates and changes to the site must be paid in full within 72 hours of service or the website will be temporarily / permanently removed from the web unless other arrangements have been requested, in writing with LC Webworks.
All deposits for work are non-refundable.
Satisfaction Guarantee:
LC Webworks promises you will be completely satisfied with your site and will make necessary changes for up to two weeks of starting and the ‘first’ publishing to your site, or your money will be refunded in full. If your site is an ongoing project which will require several publishing’s, then the two week guarantee will begin from the first date your site is published for review.
After the first 7 day period after publishing your site to the internet for review, all payments made to LC Webworks for services will become nonrefundable after that time. This satisfaction guarantee is subject to the payment schedule under the payment clause specified above.
The Artists Terms of Use:
When choosing one or more artists graphics to use on your site you are required to pay a registration fee to each artist. The artists fees will be charged to your bill and be paid to the artists by LC Webworks prior to uploading your finished site. These fees are non refundable.
Freelance artists will be contacted and paid separately from LC Webworks. LCWW will be happy to assist you in the planning of your graphics for your project, however all payments for freelance work are paid directly to the artist by you, the customer, and not billed by LC Webworks.
Security & Confidentiality:
As part of the web design & publishing business, certain confidential information must be obtained during the course of publishing, and maintaining your website. At no time will any personal information be given out by LCWW.
Copyright Infringement:
Copying or using other persons, companies, artists, photographers, writers and any other source of information is completely prohibited by LC Webworks unless you are the owner of the materials or have written consent given to LCWW granting permission to use such materials. Copyright infringement is strictly forbidden, and LCWW will need documentation in writing that you and/or your company is owner of the materials provided to LCWW.
In the event that materials have been given to LC Webworks by way of misrepresentation, LCWW will not be held liable for the content given to us. Your site will be immediately removed from the internet and you will be contacted for rectification. Your site will remain off line until proof is provided that the incident has been honorably taken care of or removal of said material from the web.
Client indemnifies LC Webworks or it’s offices from any litigation and / or legal fees.
LC Webworks’ Disclaimer:
LC Webworks guarantees 100% satisfaction of services to you as written in our agreement. LCWW however will not be held liable for activity or inactivity on your site, nor for sales of services or products you offer. LCWW reserves the right to discontinue web services at any time for non-payment of services or fraudulent practices. LCWW does not guarantee the quality of your site viewed by older browsers. LCWW is not responsible for refunds after the initial two week period as agreed.
